Opportunity Review: Draw4profit
How to Make £200–£300 a Week Part-time With Caricatures – No Art Training Required!
I love this home-based business opportunity. Draw4profit shows you how to create and sell commemorative caricatures for special birthdays – think 30th, 40th, 50th, etc. And here’s the clincher – using a nifty piece of software you can create these gifts quickly and without any artistic training or experience. You could make £70 clear profit on each one and easily do three, four, five or more a week in just a few hours each.
Everyone I’ve mentioned it to – readers, friends and family – have all wanted to get their hands on a copy. That, to me, is the sign of a biz opp gem. It’s the kind of idea where people can immediately see the money-making potential and actually picture themselves running this business.
I mentioned it in my eletter a couple of weeks ago and the interest was so great it crashed the server! And you can see why. I mean, what is there NOT to like about Draw4profit?
It’s a cracking part-time business. You don’t need any special artistic skills and yet you are producing unique and high perceived value products that people will keep for years to come.

Yes, you really could create
this ‘masterpiece’ without
any art training
And once again I am delighted that it is a WRMM reader who has developed this idea. Here’s what founder Alan Taylor told me:
“For 10 years my dad and I have quietly run a home business turning 30p sheets of paper into products which currently sell for £74.
Recently we created a video training course to teach anybody how they can do the same. We sell a specific type of cartoon drawing that we market as unique personalised gifts for ‘milestone’ occasions (40th birthday, 50th birthday, etc.).
So long as they can follow instructions and trace adequately that’s all the artistic ability they’ll need.
We’re providing computer software and our own unique clip art so almost anyone can design a cartoon with just a few mouse clicks. Trace the design by hand on to a sheet of good quality paper and they’ll have a hand-crafted bespoke gift with a high perceived value. All inside a couple of hours or so.
It won’t make anybody a millionaire but it’s ideal for someone wanting an extra £200 to £300 a week for ‘working’ part-time. Just three cartoons a week would provide this amount. Ten years of running the business has shown there’s a steady flow of customers. And since they pay in advance, cash flow is no problem.”
Sounds good doesn’t it? As I mentioned, I think this is one of the money-making ideas that is so simple and so appealing that it will prove to be one of the most popular opps I have ever featured in these pages.
What you’ll need to get started
Obviously, you’ll need a computer plus printer and a scanner as well as a window or light box. You’ll need a little cash for paper and frames, but as this business can generate cash in advance, it becomes self-financing very quickly.
How do you get customers?
Long term, this business is perfect for generating new leads by referrals. By this I mean the product is your promotion – a caricature is a great talking point in anyone’s home and they are bound to generate a lot of sales leads. (Idea: You could give your paid customers a few business cards plus the promise of a small commission for anyone who is referred directly through them.)
But to start with, Alan keeps it simple. It’s mostly stuff like advertising in newsagents’ windows, classified ads in magazines, giving away portraits to landlords and hairdressers, etc. Alan also covers a bit about Google AdWords, press releases and brochures. Again, don’t worry about the more advanced stuff as that can wait – word of mouth and low cost advertising methods will easily generate the early sales.
Now, a word of warning. I like this so much and believe that thousands of people would be interested in taking up this opportunity. Of course I wanted to let you know about it before anyone else. To be honest, right now Alan’s marketing is limited and this is still well below the radar for most people.
However, I will soon be advising Alan on how to make this even more successful. After all, he’s a WRMM reader and it’s all part of the service. It’s a unique product and I think he is underpricing it at the moment and will recommend to raise it. The course is currently a digital download plus online video training. You get the clip art either on CD or downloaded directly onto your PC.
So, if you want to get in at £47, you need to be quick. I’ve persuaded Alan to keep it at that price until the end of May 2009.
Bottom Line: Low start-up costs and a product that sells itself make this one of the best part-time home-based business ideas I’ve seen in years. Huge recommendation.
