They said it was a fluke. So I did it again.

Internet Income Detective - 22nd April 2009

Hi,

For all you sceptical people out there...

What A Rush

Whenever I speak about making thirty grand in a day online I get slightly concerned that may come across as though I am bragging. Then I realise I am bragging and don't really care anymore.

Because of my braggadocio a few, ahem, experts said that making that amount of money on the internet from such a tiny list was a one off. A fluke. A lucky strike that would never  be able to be repeated again.

Firstly it made me laugh how when these people wrote that in forums or send it to their email list they always followed itup with something like "Instead of that focus on building a solid business, like my turnkey business in a box that you can get for five grand today". Pleease. Give me strength. Even the entire population of spec savers could see through that one.

Unfortunately this led to newbies who saw me making that money live emailing me saying "so and so says that was a one off and never to be repeated".

This annoyed me. Firstly people don't believe you because anyone can fake a screenshot of earnings (and many do). I thencreate a video of me making insane amount of cash live and people say "Well....it's a one off". It seems some people lookfor every excuse of why something won't work rather than trying it themselves.

So, with me being somewhat of a cocky bar steward, I went about doing it again.

I followed the simple step by step system I outline in my eformula course and just rinsed and repeated the process.

I spent a little time priming my list (less than six hundred this time, five hundred and eighty odd people were on the list) and got them warmed up to my irresistible offer. Then, on Saturday at noon, I sent out my email promotion.

Three hours later I had sold out my program and had twenty six grand sitting in my bank account.

Pretty impressive huh? Even more so when you watch it happening live. I'll be giving you the video of it next week.

That's pretty damned cool right? I mean, making that kind of money during this so called recession is quite hard to get yourhead round. The whole world is meant to be falling apart and I'm sitting on my backside making that kind of cash.

What makes this all better is not only did I make twenty six grand in less time than it takes to cook a roast dinner (at least my girlfriend takes four hours, it might take less because she's too food what Britney Spears is to virginity ) but just under ten grand of that is a monthly recurring income. In other words every month I'll have ten grand sitting in my account.

So this eletter is for all those doubters. All those who said it couldn't be done again. It was a fluke. It wasn't. It was a formula. One that can be cloned for any market.

If you haven't yet checked out the eFormula course go and take a look below. You can watch the video of the first time I made thirty grand in a day there. And as I said I'll send you the new video next week.

A Word About Honesty And Integrity

What I want to talk to you about now is very, very important. It is one of the reasons why I can make that kind of crazy cash from such a small email list. Even if you don't try my eformula at least add this to your online ventures.

All of my customers and subscribers (apart from the odd one or two - you can't please everyone) know that I pride myself on being down the line and honest. I do this for a number of reasons. For starters, if there's one thing I can't stand it's people who try to pull the wool over your eyes when selling things online. We all know how I feel about the internet marketing Brady Bunch. Selling rubbish to line their own pockets.

Well on Saturday I made somewhat of a boob. I had Neil (one of my friends who I like to help out by having him do some jobs for me) upload a web page that was part of the launch. Unfortunately he uploaded the first draft, rather than second.

On the web page it said that if they sign up they get one hundred pounds off the full price. What it meant was if they pay in a one off payment they get the program for one hundred quid cheaper than if they buy in three payments.

Unfortunately the first draft wasn't worded as well as the second draft. So he uploaded a version which didn't explain it as clearly as the second. It was fine, but I want things to be  clear as day for my customers.

Anyway on Sunday I received an email from a lovely chap asking how to get his one hundred quid off. I didn't quite understand what he was talking about until I went to the old sales page (it had been removed because we sold out) and realised Neil's mistake.

After a few hours of stringing Neil up and ritually whipping him with bamboo cane I sent an email out to all customers explaining the issue. I told people that if they wanted to they could change to the other monthly payment without any problems and also that on top of that I was going to give them something that far exceeded the value of what they had already paid. And it was a seriously cool offer.

I know I have the best customers in the world. They know me and they know I'm honest. But what really stood out to me was the tons of emails I received back. People saying they hadn't been confused, but the fact I had sent the email out to them about it reaffirmed their faith in me and now they were even more excited about the program.

Here's what one customer said:

"Hi Jon,

You must get a million emails so I don't know whether you'll have time to read this or not. However, I'm quite happy with the one payment option and understood it fully and I think your offer of putting in some extras as compensation for any confusion is awesome and shows how honest you are.

So well done buddy.

Regards,

Barry Newton"

It could have gone the other way and resulted in an avalanche of refunds. However I was willing to put that on the line because I don't want to dupe any customers, and tricking someone in that way could eventually result in one big karmic kick in the balls later down the line.

Others would have just ignored it or told people that it was they're fault for misunderstanding. Things like that will result in people not trusting you and never buying from you again. The amount of people who buy all of my products I launch is astonishing. Seriously. And my refund rates always hover around three to five percent, compared to the industry average of ten per cent plus. All this comes down to my honesty and relationship with my subscribers as well as overdelivering.

Too often in business people are short sighted. They want to make money and they want it now. So they try get rich quick b.s and four years down the line are in exactly the same place as they were previously, just more out of pocket after trusting morons.

Or they sell shoddy products, offer shoddy service and dupe people. That is a recipe for short lived success.

In business, and life, be honest with people. It will always work out for the best.

Until next week

Jon
