Pay Per Click Classroom. I'm Out.
Internet Income Detective - 28th April 2009
Hi,
In this week's eletter I want to talk to you about the most important factor in success on the net. Without it you're destined to struggle. And I'll also give you my verdict on PPC Classroom.
Pay Per Click Classroom And Telemarketing
Recently I reviewed Anik Singals Pay Per Click Classroom. I wasn't too favourable saying the member's area could have essentially been put into a pretty short ebook. There wasn't much to it at all.
Well as I said a few weeks ago in my newsletter I am a sucker with these kinds of monthly payment programs. I'm signed up to a hell of a lot of them and the only one worth the cash is Frank Kerns Mass Control. Yet I always forget to cancel them.
Yesterday I received a call from "Dominick of Pay Per Click Classroom". The second I heard an American voice on the phone my heart dropped. Somehow they always manage to call during dinner don't they?
Now I'm a polite guy. To a point. If you show me common courtesy I'll be the nicest guy in the world. But if you treat me badly expect it back.
The conversation started ok with the usual "So Jon....how...are you....finding ppc classroom".
I told him it was ok. I would expect more content for that price a month. And I then said "Dominick are you going to try to sell me a coaching program?" knowing what was coming next.
There was a pause. Probably as he flicked through the script he'd been given to try to sell me something.
"Erm...yeah but..." "Ok pal let me stop you there. No offence but I don't need a coaching program I...""Think you know it all on pay per click do you?"
As I said. If you're polite to me I'll be polite to you. If you're not expect a barrage. And the arrogance of this guy was untrue. Here was supposedly trying to sell me something and he's making out as if I don't know what I'm talking about.
I then proceeded to tell him some of the figures I make without any pay per click. His argument was if I used pay per click I could drive that up. Fair enough. But I already know that my markets keywords are way too competitive and that my no cost strategies are more powerful and long term.
"No Jon you don't understand..."
You see what's happening here are marketers are giving lists of their customers to telemarketing companies and telling them to try and sell their high end coaching programs. These telemarketing companies can then earn as much as forty per cent of the sale.
And here lies the problem. Most of these telemarketers don't have a clue what they're on about. All they care is about the sale. So they will treat people with arrogance and sometimes even disdain (trust me I've heard some horror stories) if they don't sign up. Dominick was a smug moron and even if he was selling the best coaching program in the world I wouldn't sign up purely because of the way he held himself during the brief call. "No Jon you don't understand..."
Oh oh. Now he was for it. I asked him if he knew what niche market I was in? No. Did he know anything about my marketing experience, success of my web sites or how much traffic I could get? No. Did he know how much I charge for my own coaching? No.
He was then told what I really thought of pay per click, his telemarketing skills and in no uncertain terms that my pies were getting cold so he should sod off.
That was the fourth call I've had in three weeks from one of these marketers. To be fair the Mike Filsaime call was actually pretty good. But I've since found out he uses his own in house call center and they are all properly trained.
Be careful here. When you sign up to something I'd be a tad wary of giving them your phone number. This is the start of something big and you'll find a lot of the big guns doing these calls. As if double glazing salesman weren't enough of a pane (intentional misspelling) now I have phone calls from America making my chicken and mushroom pies cold. You have been warned.
****** Urgent Message From Your Publisher! ********
Due to the huge popularity of Neil Leitch's FTSE Wealthbuilder strategy we have decided to close the doors from midnight on Thursday 30th April. Neil has been working flat out on the support since December and he deserves to get some of his life back.
So we've decided to temporarily close doors to all new students. Rest assured we will be reopening again, but it probably won't be until September. Of course, anyone who is onboard now will continue to receive daily updates and support. And even better, Neil is now widening ?the strategy and revealing how it can be used very profitably on other markets... including currencies! So if you want in, you must get in before Friday.

I'm going to try not to get soppy here!
But today I became an uncle. My sister gave birth to the cutest little boy you have ever seen and I can't quite put into words how happy and proud I am.
Unfortunately her and the little man are in Hong Kong where she lives. So at the moment my excitement is being formed through the pictures I have been sent by my bro in law. There is one thing I think of when I look at the new born baby though. How pure he is.Stick with me on this one.
If you think about it we are all born with no experiences whatsoever. We are shaped by the experiences of our life and how we react to them. Of course, genes do play their own part, but in the most part your experiences and reactions to those experiences are what shape you.
I have been blessed (and will make sure my nephew gets the same) with constant encouragement from my parents. When I started online and failed miserably for the first year not once did my parents say to me "You know what Jon. You've given it a go. It didn't work. Best give up and get a 'normal' job like everyone else". Not once. Instead they encouraged me even when I'm pretty sure they thought I was going to fail forever.
Whilst my new born little cracker has no experiences whatsoever in twenty years time he'll have had all sorts of experiences in all sorts of things. Let's say he tried a business venture and it failed once. If he then tries another one, and another one and another and they don't work eventually he is going to develop a thought that "This just isn't going to work for me".
Now I'll be leaning over his shoulder every step of the way giving him kicks up the backside and telling him he can do it. Because he can. Anyone can. But they need persistence. And unfortunately we are programmed from a young age that if something doesn't work a few times then it's best we give up. As have our spouses and close friends.
You wouldn't believe how many emails I've had that say things like "My Mum/Dad/Husband/Wife would kill me if they knew I was trying this". Why? Because they've been programmed that you need to work hard to become rich and that the internet is full of scam artists. And when they say things to you like "Ha. Trying another business are you? You're a sucker for these things" you start to think it yourself.
It amazes me that in today's society parents will make their kids get on a bike time and time again until they can ride it. Even if it takes months they'll get their kid to ride that bike. But if they mess up a couple of times at school it's "He'll never be good at maths" or "she'll never pass biology she doesn't know her backside from her elbow". It seems that in today's world failure is an easier option than just giving it a go.
Not in my book it isn't.
You wouldn't believe the amount of sceptical emails I get from people who say that they've tried "everything" when it comes to trying to earn online. Really? Does trying something for a week and then giving up when you don't see instant results really count? No.
I do understand that you may have been burned in the past by people claiming to be gurus who sell nothing but rubbish. That's why I write this newsletter. I'm here to stop you wasting your cash on something that doesn't work. But to say that "nothing works in making money online" is false. It's the sum of your experiences. You need to get past that if you are to succeed.
You need to stop reasoning with theories and reason with the facts. The internet is the opportunity of a lifetime. But if you don't take action and then stick at it until you get it right expect the opportunity to pass it by.
You can be certain of one thing. My beautiful little nephew won't hear one ounce of negativity come from my lips. He can do and be anything he wants to be. As can you, no matter how late in life you try it. Action and persistence is all it takes.
I've currently got no Internet at home due to moving into a bigger luxury apartment. The penthouse actually. All because I didn't listen to negativity and remained persistent. So for the next few days if my reply to emails are a little slower please bare with me.
Next week I'm going to give you a corker of a cash generating blueprint. Watch out for in the newsletter it's a clever twist on an old model.
Take care
Jon
